Illusion is a sixth-level titled wizard of the Tower of Annihilation who wields the [Fictional] Law.1318 Not among the strongest titled sixth-levels in pure combat, he can skip a conquest, seize a plane origin directly and "define" the outcome, and nearly half the credit for the Tower's size is his.16 He loses to the fifth-level Jie Ming in the coordinated war and is later sent to the First Tower to attempt the seventh level.1317

Background¶
He first appears unnamed as a tall, powerfully built sixth-level Tower wizard in a dark-silver-trimmed black robe, hooded, with eyes like dark-red coals, arriving to rescue the soul-wizard ambush.1 Under the hood is a pale, gaunt middle-aged face.13 His path is the [Fictional] Law, which he infers Jie Ming has also chosen; he calls the spiritual qi a created "Imaginary Element."6
