Background

Molten Mountain is one of the five elite Black Giants Jie Ming first reared and one of their two survivors; it takes the elemental colossus route and stands near a hundred meters tall after reaching the sixth level.1 As a hybrid of lava giant and snow monster it grows past two hundred meters but hits a bloodline ceiling below the seventh level.4 It follows the conventional path of elemental domination, and its advancement to the seventh level comes from adaptive evolution repairing its soul shortcomings after many soul attacks.711 Its dark red sheen comes from undigested superweapon energy, and it is the largest of the four seventh-level Black Giants.18
