Star Orbit Tribunal¶
The supreme supervisory body of wizard civilization, made up of its only nine ninth-level wizards.117 Its covenant protects every wizard's right to own and study his knowledge, enforced by the Dimensional Judgment.1 Its nine seats now face the civilization's three enemies and direct the education reform that selects elite wizards for the main battlefield.1920
Overview¶
The Tribunal balances the factions of wizard civilization and treats eighth-level wizards and apprentices alike as ants.1 Its power comes from ninth-level wizards and can kill even high-level wizards with revival means.16 Beyond knowledge protection it issues high-level military merit usable across all factions, with tasks requiring at least seventh-level status, and regulations that send high-level wizards back at intervals to guide descendants or administer mortal territories.2368
Structure¶
- Nine seats: The nine ninth-level wizards, numbered by order of birth;19 only nine wizards have ever reached the ninth level.23
- Prohibitions: Seizing knowledge by force; casual questioning or speculation about another's core knowledge; Soul Search or memory plunder without permission; unauthorized interference in a wizard's fate trajectory.4571314
- Workshop: Makes the Anti-Magic Disk, standard issue bearing a star ring and scales emblem; use must be registered.12
